Town approves four tenders

Council here has ap­proved a number of quotes and tenders for Erin’s road and fire departments, including:

– just over $1.5-million to Cox Construction, for the re­construction of Sideroad 5, from Trafalgar Road to Win­ston Churchill Boulevard;

– $38,368, for a new SCBA compressor for the fire department;

– $37,647, for a new 12-inch wood chipper; and

– $19,492 for two thermal imaging cameras for the fire department.
