HOLSTEIN – Ponies, horses, and a few other animals were among the attractions as Holstein’s non-motorized Santa Claus parade returned for its 31st year on Dec. 14.
Hundreds of spectators lined the village streets to take in the parade, which included horseback riders, goats, and walkers handing out cheese instead of candy canes.
Santa arrived in style in a sleigh atop a cart lined with evergreen boughs and pulled by a pair of garland-decked horses.
