WELLINGTON COUNTY – Matthew Rae was acclaimed on Nov. 16 as the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party candidate for Perth-Wellington in the next provincial general election.
“It is an honour,” said Rae. “I remain focused on ensuring Perth-Wellington receives its fair share of provincial funding and that we continue to build a better, stronger, and safer rural Ontario.”
“Matthew Rae has been instrumental in delivering results that matter to the people of Perth–Wellington,” said Ontario PC Party leader Doug Ford.
“Whether it’s helping to grow Ontario’s electric vehicle industry, investing in vital infrastructure, or expanding access to health care, Matthew’s leadership has had a real impact on his community.
“He’s committed to making life easier and more affordable for families and businesses, and I’m proud to have him on our team as we continue to build a stronger Ontario.”
“Matthew and the Ontario PC Party are bolstering Perth-Wellington’s potential through meaningful infrastructure projects, accessible health care, and cost-saving measures designed to support local families and foster sustainable growth,” Conservative officials state.
“Since 2022, the PC government has invested over $161 million in healthcare, schools, and infrastructure across Perth-Wellington,” officials continue.
“We have achieved a lot. However, there is more work to be done to ensure we are building the infrastructure we need, investing in our rural health care system, and ensuring that the next generation is set up for success,” said Rae to a crowd of supporters in Monkton on Saturday.
