GUELPH – An Erin woman has been arrested on drug and property charges after warrants were executed in late September in Guelph, Erin and Halton Region.
This summer, Guelph Police started an investigation into two males involved in trafficking drugs and possessing stolen property.
In September, search warrants were executed at three addresses with assistance from the OPP and Halton Police.
“As a result of the search warrants, officers recovered quantities of suspected crystal methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl with an estimated total value of more than $14,000,” Guelph Police stated in a press release.
“Officers also recovered several real and replica firearms, a stolen crossbow, a homemade conducted energy weapon and suspected stolen property including more than 40 bicycles, three motorcycles, tools and a riding lawnmower.”
Two Guelph men, aged 51 and 41, as well as a 40-year-old Halton man, were arrested on charges of possession of controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property (over $5,000), possession of prohibited weapons and breaching court orders.
On Nov. 13, a 34-year-old Erin woman was arrested by Halton Police and charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property (over $5,000) and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
She was held for a bail hearing on Nov. 14.
Stolen vehicle
MOUNT FOREST – On Nov. 14 at about 4:30am, Wellington County OPP officers were on patrol in Mount Forest when they received a report about a stolen vehicle.
Lisa Graham, 28, of Mount Forest, was charged with theft of a vehicle and driving while suspended.
She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Partner violence
WELLINGTON COUNTY – Local police continue to lay intimate partner violence charges across the county.
On Nov. 10 a 30-year-old man from Erin was charged with two counts of assault and five counts of mischief in relation to an incident in in Erin.
The accused individual is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
