GRAND VALLEY – Santa will be making a stop in Grand valley on Nov. 30 at 7pm as part of the 84th Annual Grand Valley Santa Claus parade.
Prior to the parade the Grand Valley and District Community Centre will be hosting a family ice skating party and offering free hot chocolate from 3 to 5pm. Admission is by donation to the DFS/ Grand Valley Food Bank.
There will be three random draws at 3:30, 4:00, and 4:30pm for gift certificates to local restaurants. The winner must be present at the time of the draw.
Those entering a float in the parade will be entered into a draw to win a basket of gift cards valued at $150. The draw will take place after the parade and the winner will be notified by email.
The parade route will start from the Community Centre staging area, located at the south parking lot, head south along Emma St. to William St., east on William St. to Water St., north on Water St. through Main St. and back up the hill to the Community Centre staging area.
