Beloved wife of Herb Scholten for 63 years. Cherished mother of Rhonda (Dave) McEachern, Herman (Tricia) Scholten, Neil (Theresa) Scholten and Jay (Cindy) Scholten. Loving grandmother of Ashley, Kayla, Cory and Rachel McEachern, Isaac (Brooke) Scholten, Katrina (Turner) Hettrick, Amanda (Dave) Wilson, Stacy (Dan) Groenestege, Jennifer (Seth) Schiedel, Candace (Colin) Kelly. Dearest great grandmother to her 13 great grandchildren. Shirley will be missed by her sisters and brothers Tina (late Leo) Miedema, Rose (late Andy) Poortinga, Winnie (late Jack) DeBoer, Hazel (late Peter) Jansen, Lillian (late John) Veenstra, Peter (Marianna) Hogeterp, and the late Johnny Hogeterp, Hennie (Richard) VanDyke, Ralph (late Pat) Scholten, Be (Joyce) Scholten, late Richard (Dagmar) Scholten, Jack (Theresa) Scholten, Mary (Ralph) Mulder, the late Murray Scholten and Albert (Shirley) Scholten. Predeceased by her daughter Rhonda in infancy (1965), granddaughter Jessica Scholten, parents Cornelis and Dorothy Hogeterp, daughter-in-law Ann Scholten and sister-in-law Hennie Scholten. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. A private family interment will take place in the Drayton Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Homes, Drayton.
