ERIN – Police are looking for at least three suspects after another suspicious overnight fire in the Erin Glen subdivision.
Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to a structure fire on Player Drive in north Erin on Nov. 13 at about 12:45am.
“The fire has been deemed suspicious in nature,” states a Nov. 14 press release from the OPP.
“The Ontario Fire Marshall’s office was notified … There are no injuries to report and the house that was damaged was unoccupied.”
Police say they are looking for at least three suspects who fled the area in a black SUV.
They are asking for video footage from residents or drivers who were in the area between 12 and 3am on Nov. 13, including Player Drive, 10th Line, Dundas Street East and Daniel, Pine May streets.
This is the second suspicious house fire set in the new Erin Glen subdivision in seven weeks.
On Sept. 27, eight new homes in the development were damaged – some of them completely destroyed – by an overnight fire that police are considering suspicious.
