Not a lot has changed in Mapleton’s 2009 insurance coverage, though the township will save about $1,600 versus 2008 costs.
The total 2009 premium to be paid by the township will be $130,563, down from the 2008 premium of $132,164.
The biggest difference in 2009 over this year is the premiums for municipal liability and errors and omissions are each down by five per cent.
“Thank you for your delegation and thank you for reducing the cost,” Mayor John Green said to the delegation.
Council unanimously approved the 2009 renewal.
