Graham Philip Dunsmore, age 78, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024, in Drayton, Ontario. Born on January 6, 1946, in Toronto, Ontario, Graham lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication to his family and community. An avid golfer, guitarist, and lawn bowler, Graham was passionate about spending time outdoors and pursuing his hobbies. Whether perfecting his swing on the golf course, strumming his guitar, or enjoying the camaraderie of lawn bowling, he found joy in these activities and in the friendships they brought. Graham is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara, and his cherished daughter, Nicole and her husband Carl. He was predeceased by his son Philip (2023). He will be missed by his cousin Sylvia DeWitt (Des Moines, Iowa) and his “bonus” daughter Carlyne McCrory (Montreal, Quebec). He was a devoted husband and father, and his family was always at the center of his life. A memorial service to celebrate Graham’s life will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church (36 Henderson Street, Elora) on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 2pm. Following the service, guests are invited to the Aboyne Hall in the Wellington County Museum (0536 Wellington Road 18, Fergus) for a time of fellowship and refreshments. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. John’s in Elora in his memory.
