ELORA – Elaine McKinnon moved to Elora a few months ago and then went sailing.
She is back with sailing stories of past adventures and discoveries. She’ll be speaking at the Elora library on Nov. 12 from 6:30 to 8pm.
The talk is sponsored by Save Our Water and is free to attend, although donations are welcome.
“Doors open at 6pm, so come early as seating is limited,” official say.
At one point, seven women set sail in the Atlantic Ocean and found out what was in that ocean. McKinnon was one of those who made some surprising discoveries, officials say.
She also did sailing trips in the Great Lakes and found what there was to find in those waters, too.
Organizers aren’t giving away much more of the story. To learn more, come to a talk she is doing downstairs at the Elora Library.
