When you think about libraries, is your first thought … 3D printers?
If it is, chances are that you’ve already visited one of several Wellington County Library branches with a 3D printer on site.
3D printing has many applications in the world today in fields such as engineering, automotive manufacturing, aviation and health care. Any industry that relies on customized parts can benefit from the technology.
While you won’t be able to make parts for cars or airplanes on our 3D printers, you will be able to learn about the technology and create your own custom project.
Whether you already have a project in mind, or you’re just curious about the technology, you can check out our Cubicon Single Plus printers available at the Mount Forest, Palmerston or Drayton branches. Visit wellington.ca/LibraryCalendar to sign up for one of our upcoming 3D Printing programs or contact one of the above branches to book an appointment with a staff member.
