HARRISTON – On Oct. 12 at about 8pm, Wellington County OPP attended a collision involving an ATV and a parked vehicle on Queen Street South.

“No injuries were reported as a result of the collision,” police stated in an Oct. 14 press release.

A 29-year-old Harriston man was charged with driving with more than 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood in his system, impaired driving (alcohol and drugs), dangerous driving, failing to remain at the scene of an accident and three counts of driving while suspended. 

He is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.

The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
