Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus on October 3rd, surrounded by the love of her family, at 84 years of age. Rosalie is reunited at last with her beloved husband of 63 years, Ray (2020). She will be deeply missed by her daughter Alice Sibthorp (Ray), and her grandchildren Garrett and Jaiden Sibthorp. She is survived by her brothers Charles Roden (Lynda) and James Roden (Marion). Rosalie will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, and many close friends from the Senior’s Centre Fergus, where she was very well known for her card game expertise. She will be missed immensely by her loyal 4 legged friend Lola. Predeceased by her brothers Larry Roden (Cathy) and Brian “Ross” Roden, sisters-in-law Miriam Smith and Eileen Edgecombe, and brother-in-law Dave Voyce. As per Rosalie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Fergus. The family would appreciate that if anyone wishes to leave a donation in Rosalie’s memory, they may be directed to the Guelph Wish Fund for Children.
