On Nov. 16 at 2pm, a varied program of instrumental music will be offered at the Gallery Concerts, held in Exhibition Hall at the Wellington County Museum.
The atmosphere resembles the musical salons of old, with interaction between performers and audience, instrumental interpretations heard in a setting of fine acoustics, and opportunities to talk with the artists who donate their talents. Buy tickets at the door.
The program is: Sonata by Nino Rota for clarinet and piano, Trio by Gian Carlo Menotti for violin, clarinet, piano, and Nocturne, a Ukulele Serenade by Aaron Copeland. That half of the program features Peter Bald, piano, Larry Moser, clarinet, and Ron Dolynchuk, violin.
After intermission, the concert resumes with the Royal City Saxophone Quartet, offering classics, traditional folk songs, ragtime and jazz.
Stay after the concert for refreshments, displays, and to talk with artists and friends.
