There will be a used book sale here on Nov. 8. Last year was the first Eden Mills book sale and it was a success. Electronic equipment and hundreds of books, CDs, DVDs, videos, audiotapes, and vinyl records were donated, and buyers had a field day choosing never used cookbooks for $2, old and new fiction, children’s books and movies, science fiction, music, old movies, classics, collectables – most items for the price of a coffee.
It is at the Eden Mills Community Hall at 108 York Street from 9am until noon.
All of the proceeds are donated to the Eden Mills Community Club, a non-profit group run by volunteers. Proceeds from activities in Eden Mills are used to operate the many programs and services of the Eden Mills community.
