TAYLOR-RICHARDSON, Jeanne (née Hill)

It was a soft rain at the break of dawn when Jeanne made a graceful exit from this life to the next, at Hospice Wellington. She was surrounded by the love of her children Cheryl Taylor (Greg Marsden), Dale Taylor (Noreen), Brad Taylor (Jackie), Rob Buller-Taylor (Terri) and Scott Taylor (Sari). Jeanne is a much loved older sister of Nancy Carter (Gerry), Donna Richardson (Bruce), Gary Hill (Joan) Deb Molto (Wayne), sister-in-law to Wayne and Dianne Taylor, Susie Davies, Lorraine and Doug Black, cherished Grandma T to 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way. Married in 1956, Jeanne and Dean (Taylor) worked hard while raising their children in a haven of happiness. Together they enjoyed antiquing, dances, travelling, casinos and great times with family and friends. Dean died suddenly in 2000 leaving Jeanne recently retired to carve out a new life. Always curious, she ventured into new hobbies and widened her circle of friends. With a second chance at love Jeanne and Aubrey Richardson were married in 2007, expanding their combined circles, they enjoyed years of travelling till Aubrey’s passing in 2010. Jeanne settled in Fergus in 2011 and has since been part of a caring condo circle of friends who were her rock. Jeanne was an employee with the Bank of Montreal for 31 year. She was a long-time member of Bethany United Church and recently the Hope Springs United Church of Elora. Never one to turn down a game of Euchre, or many other card games, Jeanne also became a devoted fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and enjoyed watching curling. She valued friendships, conversation, phone calls and visits. Her final days were spent at Hospice Wellington. There are no words to describe the exemplary care that hospice provided both to Jeanne and her family. Donations to Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation, Hospice Wellington or Aboyne Rural Hospice are greatly appreciated by the family.
