GUELPH – Canadian country and folk singer, Don Amero, will perform his new song ‘What were you thinking’ at the River Run Theatre in Guelph as part of his cross Canada tour.
The singer was born in Winnipeg Manitoba and began his music career in 2006 with his debut album Change Your Life.
Amero’s second album won the Canadian Folk Music Award for Aboriginal songwriter of the year in 2009 and in 2011 after the release of his third album he won the Best Folk Recording at the Native Music Awards.
Amero was also nominated for Album of the Year Award in 2022 and Innovative Campaign of the Year Award in 2023 by the Canadian Country Music Association.
The Guelph show will mark one of four performances in Ontario with shows in London, Ottawa, and Hamilton.
