Geranium is building mansions in its Belwood development, starting at $2.5 million according to one of their advertisements. One of their ads states, “Make sure you apply for Platinum VIP access” to the brochure, price list and floor plans for these homes.
A reliably-sourced rumour is circulating that says that the builders have applied to Centre Wellington council for a permit to put three kitchens in each unit. Why three kitchens?
Ontario needs affordable housing, not three-kitchen homes.
Who is going to be able to afford these homes? Not the people looking to rent or buy a home. It’s a “triple bogey” for them. It’s an unattainable dream for most.
