GUELPH – The Guelph Wellington Seniors Association (GWSA) wants to hear from older adults to get a better understanding of the supports and services they need.
The association is conducting a survey of people aged 55 and up living in Guelph and Wellington County in order to gather input that will help in designing and delivering services and inform the development of an Older Adults Strategy for the area.
“Older adults are the fastest growing demographic group, and we believe accurate data and evidence are an essential first step in better understanding the supports and services needed by older adults in Guelph and Wellington County,” stated an announcement for the survey.
The GWSA has partnered with the County of Wellington, Guelph Food Bank, Guelph Public Library, Guelph-Wellington Local Immigration Partnership, and Wellington County Library for the project.
The confidential survey, which closes on Oct. 15, is available online at surveymonkey.com/r/368GVVZ. Paper copies are available at Guelph and Wellington public library branches.
In return for completing the survey, participants can opt to be entered into a draw for one of several prizes.
