On Sept. 24 at 7:30pm the second meeting of the 4-H Milk Makes It Better club was held at leader Cathy Dobben’s home.
This was a regular meeting and both the club president and secretary were present. The meeting was opened by president Valerie Koepke leading everyone in the 4-H pledge, followed by secretary Jessica Martin and press reporter Jackie Shaw reading their reports on the last meeting.
Club members then prepared two vegetable pizzas. While the pizzas were in the oven the Canada food guide was discussed. When the pizzas were cooked and had cooled everyone sampled a piece.
The next meeting was held on Oct. 2 at leader Lynne Flewwelling’s dairy farm.
