Groves Memorial Community Hospital nurse Alice Murray has been named by the community as the most deserving nurse of a bursary from RBC.
As part of the RBC adopt-a-nurse bursary contest, residents were invited into RBC branches to read the stories and profiles of six exceptional nurses and vote for a nurse to receive a bursary.
Murray is one of seven winners from Wellington, Grey, Bruce, and Dufferin communities who participated in the contest, which is part of a larger $110,000 commitment to support nurses’ professional development so that they can provide leading-edge health care services to the community.
RBC celebrated Murray’s win during RBC’s community week, June 21 to 27, which is dedicated to recognizing local heroes across the country whose efforts – big or small – make a difference in the community.
