MINTO – The Town of Minto joins this year’s national celebration of arts and culture by hosting a large variety of free events and activities for Culture Days in Minto.
Sponsored by Minto’s Cultural Roundtable, the events, from Sept. 20 to Oct. 13, will include hands-on fun and highlight the importance of local arts and culture in Minto’s community, town officials say.
Get crafty with activities such as friendship bracelet making, a global tile painting workshop, activities with the Minto libraries, and more.
Get active with the Minto Dance Academy’s movement workshop and Minto Youth Action Council’s Just Dance party, experience local agricultural and cuisine with the Minto Farmers’ Market and at the annual apples and astronomy event.
“With over a dozen activities, there is something for all ages,” Minto officials state.
The events are free and will be located across Harriston, Clifford, and Palmerston.
Those interested can register at town.minto.on.ca/calendar.
