Passed away at home in Harriston, surrounded by the love and strength of her family, on Friday, July 26, 2024, in her 87th year. Wife of the late Harold ‘Rex’ Penfound (2007). Mother of Linda & Bernie Leusink, and Mervyn & Dana Penfound, all of Harriston, Trevor Penfound of Mount Forest, and Lorraine & Leo Montag of Ayton. Grandmother of Maurice (Elske), Chris, Angela, LeeAnn (Mike), Leo Jr. (Karina), Luke, Luana, Tonya, Crystal, Stacey (Levi), Travis, Lindsay (Mike), Tiffany, Tabitha, and Dylan, and great-grandmother of 16. Predeceased by her daughter Barbara Penfound, grandson Mark Lambrecht, and great-grandchildren Victoria and Owen Lambrecht. Margaret was born in Liskeard, England, on December 8, 1937. She married Rex in England, and they immigrated to Canada on June 27, 1972 to begin a new life with their five children. Margaret loved to travel and explore new places. If she was camping, life would be even better. She was a great mother who enjoyed family get togethers. Margaret had a big heart and was always willing to help those in need. Her love of adventure kept a smile on her face.
