Apples, A Bushel of Fun is the theme for the 149th Harriston-Minto Fall Fair.
The midway will be having a Friday night special this year. Exhibits in both arenas open Friday at 6pm. At 8pm there is a talent show.
After the parade Saturday visitors can see horses, dogs, babies, and cattle at the fair grounds. Homecraft demonstrations start at 2pm, with chocolate making , towel painting, and crafts with Joell Craft.
There will be a pork auction in the cattle ring in the main arena, or bid on cheese or a large gift basket donated by Gay Lee Foods, from Teeswater.
Saturday offers the Steve Baker Magic Show at 8pm, followed by the great a cappella harmony of The Essentials at 9pm. Families will enjoy this show and all tickets are $20.
The Battle of the Bands will start at 6pm.
Sunday offers a breakfast.
The antique vehicle show is on the ball diamond. There is also a motorcycle show. Children can challenge each other at the popular pedal tractor pull then look for prizes in the Big Bale Rollout. The demolition derby start just after the free bicycle draw at 2pm. At 4:30 there is a pork and beef barbecue in the auditorium. Adults tickets are $12 each, and under 12 is $5.
All weekend long, the all bulls eye paintball course is running.
