Tickets are selling quickly for Guelph Museum’s annual Neighbourhood Spirit Walk on Sept. 7.
Explore the neighbourhood around Guelph Civic Museum and discover more about people who once lived and worked in the community. From the start of the walking tour at the museum to the finish at the Church of Our Lady Immaculate, participants will explore Guelph history through vignettes and a look at the architectural heritage.
Starting at 12:30pm, tours leave the museum every 20 minutes. The final tour leaves at 2:30pm. Each tour lasts approximately 90 minutes, finishing at the church. At the conclusion, participants have the opportunity to tour the church.
There are stairs and some steep inclines to negotiate on this year’s tour. Tickets are $10 per person and are on sale now. Purchase tickets in advance through the River Run Centre box office at 519-763-3000 or toll free 1-877-520-2408.
