PALMERSTON – A donation of $5,000 from The Blessings to You Centre along with the support of the Palmerston Lions Club and the Town of Minto is helping the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum with its vision of restoring the caboose, an invaluable piece of history, to its original configuration. The preservation of this rolling stock is just one of the ways that the Museum can provide the Palmerston area and beyond with a unique opportunity to learn and experience firsthand the pivotal role that railways played in shaping this community and the country of Canada. Presenting the cheque to museum volunteer Bob McEachern are Blessings volunteers Barb Noonan, Coral Lebbink, and Sylvia Roberts.
