St. Mary Catholic School choir’s end-of-year concert

ELORA – The St. Mary Catholic School choir sang for the residents at the Heritage River Retirement Residence in Elora on June 26. The choir is made up of grades 3 to 5. The children sang This Little Light of Mine, Hallelujah and other toe-tapping songs. The residents clapped and sang along as they watched. Rose Parkinson and Shelley Killinger volunteered and helped lead the choir.

St. Mary’s teacher Chelsey Cayen told the Advertiser, “It’s a great end-of-year opportunity for them to share with their community, these kinds of things get them excited, it’s good for them.”
