ELORA – This summer, the Elora Centre for the Arts (ECFTA) is launching a concert series.
The Pavilion Summer Concert Series includes six concerts in the ECFTA yard and features emerging artists from a range of genres.
Everyone is welcome, and the series is free to attend, although pay-what-you-can donations to the Arts Centre are gratefully accepted.
The series kicks off June 27, from 6 to 9pm, with Toronto’s Jessica Sevier, a country music artist and multi-instrumentalist.
Other artists include:
– July 7, 2 to 5pm, The Tradition
– July 25, 6 to 9pm, Sara Rose and Geoff Canlett;
– Aug. 15, 6 to 9pm, Kyle Burton;
– Aug. 25, 2 to 5pm, Woody Woodburn; and
– Sept. 6, 6 to 9pm, Harry Lee Follon.
“We’re excited about this opportunity to bring our community together to enjoy some fantastic musical performances and celebrate our new MacDonald Pavilion outdoor stage,” said ECFTA executive director Lianne Carter.
“We’re always looking for ways to connect, nurture and uplift people through the arts, and break down barriers to arts participation. This free summer concert series is a great way for us to do that.”
The series is made possible by Sorbara Group of Companies, Tribute Homes, the County of Wellington and the Centre Wellington Community Foundation.
