Guelph’s Taylor Reid takes first place at Guelph Lake triathlon

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – Hundreds of competitors from across the province swam, cycled and ran their way through the Guelph Lake Subaru Triathlon Series held at the Guelph Lake Conservation Area on June 15.

Guelph’s Taylor Reid finished first in the Olympic Triathlon. He completed a 1.5km swim, 36km cycling route and a 10km run at the conservation area with a time of 1:49:12.

That was slightly more than four minutes ahead of runner-up “Jessey The Elf” of Waterdown. It was Reid’s second time securing the top spot in the June event.
