BELWOOD – On May 25 and 26 the Belwood and District Lions Club hosted its annual Pike and Walleye Derby. “This year, we had a very nice turnout of adult, youth and child anglers that made our derby very successful,” said Belwood Lion’s secretary George Woodley in an email. There were four categories of prizes for the longest fish including: adult pike, youth pike, adult walleye and youth walleye. The event also included a $10,000 cheque presentation to Groves Memorial Hospital.
