Patients at local hospitals in Perth-Wellington will benefit from the $2,036,550 investment in new hospital funding Perth-Wellington MPP John Wilkinson announced recently.
The money is part of a $667.2-million provincial increase, or 4.9 per cent, over last year.
The funding increase means new beds, more surgeries, lower wait times, and improved access to family health care for residents in Perth-Wellington.
“I am pleased that this additional funding will help ensure the citizens of Perth-Wellington receive the care they deserve,” said Wilkinson. “The quality and level of care provided at our hospitals ultimately helps to reduce wait times for patients and increase access to family health care.”
North Wellington Health Care Centre will receive $65,750 (small hospital funding.
