ELORA – If antiques and quirky old things are your thing, you’ll be interested in the Elora Antique and Vintage Show slated for April 13 and 14 at the Jefferson Elora Community Centre.
All over Ontario, antique dealers are packing their vans for the annual trip to Elora. The show has been running since 1992 and it’s popular with both vendors and shoppers.
Dave Stewart is one of the vendors. Not only is he perhaps the tallest dealer in the business, but he also has an ingrained love of relics from early times in Ontario, officials say.
He’s been selling antiques for 41 years, from a small storefront in Brooklin, Ontario to some of the biggest antique shows in the province.
He’ll join nearly 40 dealers with a wide range of antique and vintage goods for sale.
The antique show is at the newly renovated Jefferson Elora Community Centre, at 29 David Street W. in Elora.
It runs April 13 from 10am to 5pm and April 14 from 11am to 4pm. Adult admission is $10; kids under 13 are free. Visit antiqueshowscanada.com/elora for more information.
