ELMIRA – Directed and produced by Joe Brenner, The Drowning Girls is coming to the Elmira Theatre Company April 26 to May 5.
The production will be held at the Elmira Theatre’s new location at 60 Arthur Street South, Elmira in the St. James’ Church.
Officials describe it as a chilling, poignant story about three brides who find they were all married to the same man.
It’s a compelling and witty play based on a true story, officials add.
These three women bring numerous characters to life to share their story, discovering that it is never too late to find your inner strength.
This one-act play runs approximately 90 minutes long with no intermission.
Show times
Show times are as follows:
– Thursday May 2, the show begins at 7:30pm;
– Fridays April 26 and May 3, show is at 7:30pm;
– Saturdays April 27 and May 4, show is at 7:30pm; and
– Sunday matinees April 28 and May 5, the show begins at 2:30pm.
Doors open 30 minutes before showtime.
