Passed away peacefully on March 15th, 2024, In his 79th year, with his family by his side at his home in Port Dover, Ontario. Born in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Immigrated to Canada in December 1953. He was the beloved husband of Jane (nee Roth). They would have shared 59 years of marriage this December. Son of the late Camiel Sr. and Josephine Terrebroodt. He is survived by his children, Laurie (Jim) Marshall, Camille (Frank) Elst, Lisa (Jim) Hergott and Jason (Kristin) Terrebroodt. Grandpa to Danielle (Jon), Brady (Erin), Brandon, Matthew, Aaron, Nathan, and Landon. Great-grandfather to Thomas. Loving brother of Katherine and the late Don Cole. Son-in-law to the late Ernest and Margaret Roth. Brother-in-law to Gerry and Barb Roth, Gary and Peggy Gee, Ken and Kathy Winger, Bill and Sandra Roth, and Frank and Virginia Roth. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Serenity Burial & Cremation Services Inc., 361 Main Street, Port Dover (226) 290-9093 have been entrusted with the arrangements. There will be no visitation. Funeral service to be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Simcoe, 155 Colborne St N, Simcoe, on Saturday, April, 6, 2024 at 10:30am with Pastor Dan Abraham officiating. Luncheon will follow. Interment at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Regional Road 12, Fisherville, at 2:00pm.
