Passed away on March 26, 2024 in his 92nd year. Keith was born in Montreal in 1932, eventually moving to Toronto in the early 1960’s. After a long and distinguished career in the machine tool industry, he retired to the Elora/Fergus area, where he resumed his love of the bag pipes by joining the Fergus Pipe Band. He had previously played for the 401 Squadron, RCAF in Montreal. He was a long-time member of the Canadian Masters Track & Field Association, holding positions on various committees, and competing in track meets in Canada and the US. Keith is survived by his wife Lynne and their son Geoff (Ruth), grand daughter Holly and grandson Graham, and his sons Cameron and Geoffrey and grandchildren Tiffany and Danny. It was Keith’s wishes to be cremated. Arrangements entrusted to Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. A tree will be planted in memory of William (Keith) Kerr in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
