John will be dearly missed by his loving family, Margaret Baldwin (Larry), Linda Greer (Randy), Ed Korpan (Juanita), sisters Ester Douglas, Sally Anne Moir and Laurie Elmose. Predeceased by his brother Daniel, and brother-in-laws Vaughan Douglas and Tom Moir. John will be remembered by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. John was proud to even be a great- great uncle! John was a long standing member of the Canadian Air Force Golden Hawks and De Havilland, forever respected Veteran of the Legion, and was well loved by all who knew him. He was a quiet man with good values, had a good appetite, and smiled with his eyes. John was an avid sports fan who loved golf, football and hockey, always cheering for his favourite Canadian teams; Toronto Argonauts and The Toronto Maple Leafs. We would like to thank Dr. Morris, Dr. Brault, Dr. Schafir, and all the medical staff at Guelph, Groves Memorial and St. Joseph’s Hospitals for the endless support. Also thank you to the nurses and staff at Heritage River for the wonderful care and compassion they provided for John. Uncle Johnny will be missed by anyone who knew him.
