WELLINGTON COUNTY – The County of Wellington will launch a centralized application and waitlist for licensed child care in April, using OneHSN software.
The online ‘Wellington- Guelph Child Care Application and Waitlist’ will be designed to simplify and facilitate the way families can find and apply for licensed child care services throughout our region, states a March 4 press release from the county’s Children’s Early Years division.
The Wellington-Guelph Child Care Application and Waitlist system will include a number of features designed to meet the needs of families, the release states, including:
– multi-program applications – the service will be able to manage applications to multiple licensed programs, and for more than one child if needed;
– comprehensive research tools to enable families to thoroughly explore licensed child care options, authorized recreational programs overseen by the county, and services throughout Wellington-Guelph, including location maps;
– financial and special needs support information; – vital information on fee subsidies and special needs resources;
– flexible access allowing users to manage their online applications to different licensed programs in one centralized location anytime, anywhere; and
– enhanced security to ensures user privacy with a secure online platform.
