No Room for Hate presentation to be held March 6 in Harriston

HARRISTON – Area residents are invited to attend a presentation aimed at increasing awareness of hate crime in rural areas on March 6.

The presentation, from 6:30 to 8pm in the Community Room of the Harriston Library, is hosted by the Town of Minto’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion committee.

Funded by the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General, the program will be presented by Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington in partnership with Victim Services Wellington and the County of Wellington OPP.

“Don’t miss this important message regarding hate crime and community unity, designed to increase awareness of this crime locally, offer supports to victims, and create understanding for victims of this crime,” organizers urge.
