The Elora Community Theatre is now into rehearsals for its third show of the season – Kitchen Witches.
Written by Caroline Smith and directed by Denise Gismondi, the play is about the rivalry and antics of two mature TV cooking show hosts – who manage to make the show a smash hit with viewers – despite their fierce rivalry.
Kitchen Witches will be on stage at the Fergus Grand Theatre from April 25 to 27 and May 1 to 3. All performances are at 8pm except for April 27, which is a matinee at 2 pm.

Elora Community Theatre also announced that its first play of the season On Golden Pond, received two nominations from the Western Ontario Drama League (WODL). The play, presented in November, was adjudicated out-of-festival.
Leigh Fishleigh, who played the role of Bill Ray, was nominated for the Repuski award for outstanding performance by an actor in a supporting role.
Ben Leibovitz, who played the role of Billy Ray, was nominated for the Hadley award for outstanding performance by a juvenile.
