Of Royal Terrace, Palmerston, and formerly Drayton, went home to be with her Lord peacefully with family by her side on Friday, February 9, 2024 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerrit Donkersgoed (2008). Dear mother of Jerry Donkersgoed and Deb of Gorrie, Rick Donkersgoed and Victoria of Clifford, Ron Donkersgoed of Listowel and the late Susan (2020), Fred Donkersgoed and Cheryl of Palmerston, Harry Donkersgoed and Pam of Drayton, and Jim Donkersgoed and Marlene of Waterloo. Loving grandmother of Jeff and Erika Donkersgoed, Rick Donkersgoed; Jason and Erin Donkersgoed, Kris Donkersgoed; Joshua McTavish and Sarah Swinston, Monika and Kevin Lang; Scott Donkersgoed; Stuart and Samantha Donkersgoed, Rosalee and Allan Williamson, Todd Donkersgoed, Erin and Shawn Flewwelling, Quinton Donkersgoed; Tosha and Jamie Petznick, Lauren and Travis Ruth; Jorden Donkersgoed, Cole Donkersgoed. Cherished great grandmother to her 20 great grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Jean Vreeman, Ben and Frederika VanHoffen, Oenze Plantinga, Richard and Sharon Van Hoffen, Mary and Ben Vander Veen, and Jim and Martha Van Hoffen, Sandra Van Donkergoed, Tony Mohle, and Klaas and Muriel Van Donkersgoed. Predeceased by her siblings and siblings-in-law John and Irene Van Hoffen, Herman Vreeman, and Helen Plantinga, Gysbert and Mynie Van Donkersgoed, Bert and Grace Van Donkersgoed, Aalt Van Donkersgoed, Janet Mohle and Gerrie and Tony Van Hell. The family received friends at the Drayton Christian Reformed Church at 88 Main Street East, Drayton, on Tuesday February 13th 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00pm and on Wednesday February 14th from 1:00 to 1:45pm. Funeral service was held in the Drayton Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday February 14th at 2:00pm. Interment in Drayton Cemetery.
