GUELPH – Benjamin Darvill, known by his stage name Son of Dave is coming to McCabe’s Irish Pub and Grill in Guelph on Feb. 11. Doors open at 1:30pm, and admission is PWYC (pay what you can).
From Winnipeg, Darvill is a one-man harmonica player and beat-boxer. He was a member of Grammy Award nominated and JUNO award-winning band Crash Test Dummies for 10 years before returning to solo work. Son of Dave has recorded songs for TV shows, feature films, and is on rotation on radio stations in the UK, France, Italy and Switzerland. He has toured extensively across Canada, US, UK, Europe, Australia, Africa and Russia.
Joining Darvill will be Anthony Schmanthony (Anthony Damiao), a Guelph-based folk singer, banjo slayer, punk rocker and rock ‘n roll agitator.
