ERIN – A new stewardship agreement between the Town of Erin and the Erin Tennis Club adopted at a council meeting last year defines areas where both sides can work to provide high-quality service to residents.
The agreement outlines several management areas where the town and club will collaborate, including: maintenance, event promotion, public access and insurance.
According to a town press release, highlights of the stewardship agreement include:
– sharing long-term maintenance costs of the court colour coating surface, asphalt surface, subsurface, tennis posts and lighting via a cost-sharing agreement;
– club will cover expenses under $10,000 with costs above cost-shared by the club and town; and
– information about club facilities will appear on the town’s website, while the club sets aside court time for public access.
