Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Patricia Mae McCutcheon, beloved wife of the late Gordon McCutcheon. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Bayliss and Ada Carr. Sister of the late George Bayliss and the late Dorothy Waller. Patricia will be forever loved and remembered by her 4 Children; Carole Lee and her partner Fred Anthony, Nancy Courtney and her husband John, Beth Hoggard and the late Bryan, as well as Janet McCutcheon and the late John. She was a proud grandmother to her 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren who will all remember her fondly. Pat was proud to be a lifelong resident of Acton. She was born on the Crescent, and lived her whole life in Acton. She never strayed too far from home, other than for her service time in the Royal Canadian Navy as WREN # 6726 during World War II, did she spend time away. The family would like to express their immense gratitude to the home care professionals at Acclaim Health who cared for Patricia throughout her journey. They would also like to send a special thank you to her neighbours for all their care and support. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations in honour of Patricia to St Alban’s Anglican Church in Acton, 19 St Alban Dr. Acton, ON. L7J 1C6 or a charity of your own choosing. Interment to be held in the spring at Fairview Cemetery.
