There are still a few tickets left for anyone wanting to take part in Guelph Arts Council’s annual Fête Romantique fundraiser.
The draw for the grand prize gourmet dinner and over 30 other prizes will take place on Jan. 31, 4:30pm, at the council office. Everyone is invited.
Presented on the Saturday closest to Valentine’s Day, the grand prize dinner for six will be co-ordinated by Platters Catering and served by members of Guelph Arts Council in one of the area’s heritage homes.
A chauffeur-driven limousine will transport the winner and guests to the site, which always remains a carefully-guarded secret.
The funds raised are part of Guelph Arts Council’s annual budget, ensuring the continuation of its services and programs.
Fête Romantique tickets are $15 each or two for $25, and are available from board members or many areas stores.
Tickets will also be available the weekend of Jan. 26 and 27 at a special display booth at Stone Road Mall.
