GUELPH – Student volunteers at the University of Guelph have completed and published this year’s Guelph-Wellington Holiday Giving Guide.
The document lists dozens of charities and non-profits including Community Living Guelph Wellington, Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis, the Guelph Black Heritage Society and Hospice Wellington.
It includes information on how to donate money, items and time to local organizations in need.
“These organizations, doing amazing things year-round and especially during the holidays, are all about helping those in need,” said University of Guelph engagement coordinator Helen Keen.
“That’s why we’re keeping the Giving Guide going – to make it easier for everyone to lend a hand and support these awesome programs.”
The annual guide was formerly created by the People and Information Network, a non-profit volunteer organization that closed permanently earlier this year.
