MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest Lions Club is once again hosting the community’s annual Santa Claus Parade.
The event is set for Dec. 1 and will begin at 7pm, leaving from Victory Church (the old arena) and proceeding west on King Street to Main Street before heading north to the fire hall.
Parade theme
All floats entering will be judged on this year’s theme, “Christmas in Toyland” for: most colourful, biggest and brightest, best use of theme and best youth.
Pre-registration for float entries is preferred.

Lineup location
Unregistered entries should show up at the old arena before 6pm on the day of the parade.
Enter off Wellington Street where volunteers will guide entrants to the assembly area. Transport trucks should pull into the church parking lot for placement.
“Let’s make Santa feel at Ho-Ho-Home in Mount Forest again this year,” organizers urge.
