GUELPH – Four people have now been charged in connection with the death of a Guelph man.
On Oct. 8, the Guelph Police Service began a missing person investigation involving a 45-year-old Guelph male named Kenny (police did not include a last name).
Police say officers located the body of the missing man on Oct. 27 outside of the city, noting his death “is being investigated as a homicide.”
On Nov. 2 police announced three people from Guelph (two men aged 39 and 43 and a woman aged 47) were arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
The next day police announced a fourth person, a 37-year-old Guelph man, was arrested on the same charge.
All four were to appear in a Guelph bail court on Nov. 3.
“The Guelph Police Service believes this to be a targeted incident and there is no risk to public safety,” police stated in a press release.
