James ‘Jim’ Milton Bridge of Gowanstown passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 27, 2023, in his 77th year. Father of Jason Bridge & Lisa Trudell of Waterloo, Becki Bridge & Dave Fletcher of Swan River, Manitoba, Bobbi Loughran & Bryce Taylor of Gorrie, Jon Bridge of London, and Ben Bridge & Morgan Lander of London, and remembered by Diane (Heintzman) Bridge. Grandfather of Travis Fletcher & friend Anna, Tyler Fletcher, Cole Fletcher, Denver Loughran & fiancée Jasmine, Kennedy Loughran, Ede Bridge, and Ethan Bridge. Brother of George & Sue Bridge of Palmerston, and Joan & Rick Fisk Harriston, and remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Milton & Florence (Schneider) Bridge. Visitation was held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Listowel, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 10:00am until time of the funeral service at 11:00am. A Celebration of Jim’s life followed at Parkview Gardens (Listowel Legion) from 12:00 to 2:00pm. Interment in Harriston Cemetery. Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
