CENTRE WELLINGTON –The Fergus Grand Theatre is thrilled to present hip-hop biographer Shaun Boothe and his show Live Your Legacy, part of Boothe’s Unauthorized Biography Series, on Nov. 11 at 2pm.
The Unauthorized Biography Series is a critically acclaimed musical project that celebrates the world’s greatest cultural icons through biographical rap songs – Repackaging History through Hip-Hop.
Half TED Talk, half live concert, Shaun uses music, multimedia, and motivation to deliver powerful and transformative messaging in a way that truly resonates with audiences and leaves you inspired.
Live Your Legacy is tailored to empower, educate, and inspire students and adults alike to realize their greatest potential. It features the stories of Terry Fox, Malala Yousafzai and Serena Williams.
Shifting the focus from the success at the end of the road, Boothe sheds light on the humble beginnings, obstacles, setbacks, and incredible challenges along the way, showing how hard work, commitment and perseverance are needed to succeed.
“Celebrating our heroes, this high energy show is packed with messages of empowerment and inspiration,” organizers say.
Boothe is an award-winning hip-hop artist and TEDx speaker.
After spending 10+ years in the music industry, sharing stages with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Lauryn Hill and Kendrick Lamar, a search for a more purposeful path led Boothe to create the Unauthorized Biography Series, combining music with his passion for public speaking into a powerful tool to entertain and inspire others to achieve their own greatness.
