HARRISTON – A magic show and a hypnotist/comedy performance will take place at the Crown Harriston on Aug. 19.
Ray Anderson’s Family Magic and Illusion Show will hit the stage at 2pm.
A press release states the show will bring “Lots of laughs and ‘wow’ moments for the whole family.”
With 5,000 shows under his belt, Anderson’s magic and large-scale illusions create a show that is “not only unique and exciting but filled with laugh-out-loud comedy for the whole family,” the release adds.
At 8pm Anderson’s Hypno/comedy Spectacular shows “what happens when the world of hypnosis and comedy collide.”
Special guest MC, veteran stand-up comedian Darren Frost, joins Anderson for this performance.
Audience is ‘the show’
“The audience doesn’t just watch the show… they are the show,” the release states.
Anderson has performed in many of North America’s largest venues, for various organizations, and on a number of television specials including Grand Illusions, The Story of Magic and on Breakfast Television.
Frost has acted in Hollywood films, including Hairspray and Fever Pitch.
He has also been featured on more than 50 television commercials and performed at numerous major comedy festivals in Canada.
